Smart mobility has been a hot topic for city planners for many years now and we are proud to have been consortium member of the 2 year, £15m IoT demonstrator project in Manchester. During that time we were lead partner for connected vehicles and road safety and also developed an IoT tracking device for a proposed eBike sharing scheme.
We also proposed eBikes as a viable alternative for older drivers as they near the end of their driving lives. Crucially, our solution maintains social mobility which we know is vital for physical and mental health.
Today, we are preparing for he launch of a new and exciting range of eBike - initially for the UK market. Watch this space..
VOLTSWAG is a registered trademark. The word is derived from
'VOLTS'
- the standard unit used to measure how strongly an electrical current is sent around an electrical system and
'WAG'
- the Old English word for moving backwards and forwards. In alternating current, electrons hop from atom to atom in one direction for a while, and then turn around and hop from atom to atom in the opposite direction. Everything we do at VOLTSWAG is based around the efficient flow of electricity and how we can harness that power in developing products that can accelerate the transition towards Net Zero.
